Brexit: Numbers lesson for May and Corbyn

Labour has been urged to condemn a motion passed by party members in Diane Abbott's constituency rejecting claims of "institutional antisemitism" in the party. Her Labour colleague Lisa Nandy told ITV last night "you've got members of the shadow cabinet with deep reservations about this, as surprised as anybody to hear this announcement on Monday".

He also recounted singing "Celebration" in response to the resignations of a number of Labour MPs last week, many of whom cited antisemitism as a reason for their departure.

It is the first time since Britons voted in 2016 to leave the European Union that one of its two major political parties has thrown its weight behind giving voters a chance to change their minds.

Votes of no confidence carry no official force within the Labour Party, but local activists could hold a "trigger ballot", where sitting Labour MPs can be forced to compete for selection as a candidate against all-comers, ahead of the next general election.

McDonnell made the bold claim in an interview on ITV's Peston show, arguing that when May does bring another vote back on her deal, due on or before March 12, then Labour can win on their new European Union referendum amendment, because eurosceptic MPs are "shifting" their positions.

Since the 2016 referendum, opponents of Brexit have sought another vote they hope would overturn the result.

MPs voted on Wednesday evening to back Theresa May's Brexit plan following a series of concessions, with 20 Conservative MPs voting down government proposals to delay Article 50 under a no-deal Brexit. However, Theresa May is now stubbornly opposed and has said that supporting a public vote would be a "betrayal of our democracy".

Well at least no-deal looks to be off the table...

On Monday, the 25th of February, there had been significant improvement regarding the Brexit chaos over United Kingdom soil, as the previously scheduled Brexit vote of February 27th will be delayed by 12 days and it would be taken place on March 12th.

In the Labour party, many suspect that the leader of the party has stayed true to his Eurosceptic roots and, despite protestations, is keen for Brexit to happen over the (current) wishes of the vast majority of his party.

"Obviously at this stage that is yet to be decided and would have to be agreed by parliament".

"I am going to speak out on anti-Semitism for as long as it takes to root it out and deal with it", he said.

Due to their long history, many do not expect Kylie Jenner to completely erase Jordyn Woods from her life. Woods eventually moved into Kylie Jenner's guest home and even helped raise Jenner's daughter.

Mr Leonard said on Tuesday: "We are keen to be able to amend the deal".

The Shadow Foreign Secretary also today confirmed that in such a scenario she and the Labour Leader would be campaigning to remain.

"If we are not successful in doing that then the vote that will take place would contain the option of Remain but it would also need to contain, in our view, a credible Leave option as well".

It said the CLP "notes with increasing alarm the acceptance of the "fact" that the Labour Party is 'institutionally anti-Semitic" by not only the media, but the right wing of the PLP (Parliamentary Labour Party).
