Wisconsin Girl Jayme Closs, Missing For Nearly 3 Months, Is Found Alive

Mr Fitzgerald said investigators believe Patterson killed Jayme's parents because he wanted to abduct her, and that Patterson "planned his actions and took many steps to hide his identity".

The neighbor shouted, "This is Jayme Closs!". He has no known criminal history.

"At this moment, Jayme is in the comforting embrace of law enforcement", Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald told reporters, adding that the teen had been medically cleared from the hospital and was talking to investigators.

Jayme Closs, whose parents were found shot dead in their Wisconsin home in October, has been found alive after three months missing.

Kasinskas called 911 to report the girl had been found after another neighbor out walking her dog encountered Jayme and brought her to Kasinskas' house.

Ms Nutter said she did not want to take Jayme to her nearby home because it was too close to where she had been found, and she did not want them to be alone. Authorities have not as yet released further details.

Kristin and Peter Kasinskas say their neighbor had a skinny, dirty girl with matted hair standing next to her.

Jayme told the couple she didn't know where she was or anything about Gordon.

Exploratory money can be raised without requiring full disclosure of donors, as is required for a declared candidate. A recent poll of likely caucusgoers in Iowa had her in fourth place at 8 percent, trailing Biden, Sanders and Rep.

Still, so much remains a mystery: Who killed Jayme's parents? She escaped on foot from a home she where was being held in the town of Gordon, about 65 miles from her home. And who is the arrested suspect?

A 13-year-old American girl, missing for nearly three months after her parents were shot dead at their home in the US Midwest, has been found alive with her hair matted and wearing oversized shoes. Jayme was nowhere to be found, with the Barron County Sheriff's Department describing her as likely abducted.

A woman said she was walking her dog along a rural road on Thursday afternoon when a dishevelled teenage girl called to her for help, grabbed her and told her she was lost. "Call 911!" the neighbour said.

The sheriff said the suspect had no prior contact with the Closs family, and that the teen "was the only target".

"And I just shut myself totally down".

Ms Kasinkas told the AP she taught Mr Patterson, who lives just three doors away, in secondary school but did not remember much about him.

Jayme's relatives are breathing sighs of relief.

Sue Allard said she "just had this feeling" about today and said she "can't wait to give her a hug".

600000 security forces to oversee Bangladesh election
Dozens of people died in post-election violence. "Much work is still pending and it depends on the people casting a vote for us". Ataur Rahman, professor of political science at Dhaka University, says the opposition concerns are genuine.

A Barron County, Wis., sheriff's vehicle is parked outside the home where James Closs and Denise Closs were found fatally shot on October 15. Fitzgerald said he didn't know whether Patterson owned the home there or whether it was the only location where he had allegedly held the girl.

Minutes later police arrested the man she identified as her captor, Jake Thomas Patterson, and have charged him with abducting Closs and fatally shooting her parents. When the dispatcher called the number back, a voicemail greeting indicated the phone belonged to Denise Closs.

Nobody spoke, but the dispatcher could hear muffled yelling at the other end of the line.

Police arrived to find the front door had been kicked in.

Fitzgerald said they are continuing to investigate and search for evidence in Gordon. "From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!"

Fitzgerald said Patterson is now unemployed and does have a "tie" to Barron County - where the teen was abducted - but didn't describe the connection.

Thousands of people joined search parties for months as investigators received thousands of tips.
