Meghan's husband, Prince Harry, has long since had close ties to the Obamas.

Cape Town - Kensington Palace has reportedly responded to rumours that the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex are at war with one another.

But it is understood that both couples will spend the Christmas period with Her Majesty on the Norfolk estate.

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace has however denied this.
