CONMEBOL reschedules Libertadores final; Boca wants it off

CONMEBOL chief Alejandro Dominguez handed a letter to both Boca Juniors and River Plate presidents ahead of their meeting on Tuesday in Asuncion, Paraguay.

A statement from South American football's governing body Conmebol said a date and venue would be decided "as soon as possible".

Former Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari said Sunday that Boca Juniors should be declared Copa Libertadores champions after violence at the hands of River Plate fans prompted the suspension of the final's decisive second leg.
