UKs May sees no alternative to her Brexit plan

Rees-Mogg launched a tirade against May and her draft at the British Parliament, submitting a letter of no-confidence against the Prime Minister.

They say they have the 48 letters of no-confidence needed for a vote to take place.

She said: 'I have always had realistic expectations of what the deal would look like because it was an incredibly hard thing to negotiate.

"I do think there is a point at which, we probably should have done it before, where we just say "I'm sorry this is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, we can not accept those dictated terms".

Many drivers see them as emblematic of a presidency disconnected from day-to-day economic difficulties. "I'm very disappointed. But up to 200 people were later seen walking down the street, apparently heading toward the Elysee presidential palace.

British media reported that several pro-Brexit senior Conservatives, including House of Commons leader Andrea Leadsom, were trying to persuade May to renegotiate the divorce deal in a way they find more acceptable.

Brexiteers loathe the 585-page withdrawal deal as it looks set to keep the United Kingdom in a customs union with the EU even after a 21-month planned transition period. International Trade Secretary Liam Fox, a prominent pro-Brexit voice in Cabinet, threw May a lifeline by urging rebels to "take a rational and reasonable view of this". A relatively managed no-deal in which both sides acknowledge their inability to sign off a deal, and try to minimise chaos for businesses and people by reaching ad-hoc side agreements in important areas like border controls and cross-border finance contracts. "I am bringing back what I believe to be the best deal for Britain and MPs will then do their job, thinking about the impact of that on their constituents", she added.

The first question she faced on a LBC radio phone-in show to defend her deal was from a caller who asked her to "respectfully stand down". Other ministers, including David Lidington, the Cabinet Office minister, joined in a campaign to shore up Mrs May's authority, as he praised her resilience in carrying out an "absolutely back-breaking job".

Former Brexit minister Steve Baker, a leading member of the European Research Group of Eurosceptic Tories, said: "People have been ringing me and they are telling me that they are putting letters in".

Owens, who left the show in 1986, later referred to it as a "cartoon donkey", one he endured for "that big paycheck". Carl Vaughn lives in Whitesboro but also spent 20 years in the country music capital of Nashville, Tennessee.

Much of the reason he said he wouldn't support Theresa May's deal was because it was "vague" and did not say enough about workers rights and environmental protections.

"I do think we are being subjected to what is pretty close to blackmail frankly", he told the BBC.

MEPs divide their time between their constituencies, Strasbourg - where 12 plenary sittings a year are held - and Brussels, where they attend additional plenary sittings, as well as committee and political group meetings. Particularly, the alternative proposals on the issue to the Irish-Northern Irish border would not solve the Problem, said May. But winning a leadership vote could strengthen her position, because the rules say she can't be challenged again for a year. If May stayed on in power without a divorce deal that could be approved, the ultimate outcome of Brexit would be uncertain.

He was confident the country would vote to remain, but voters opted by 52 percent to 48 percent to quit the European Union, a result that left both the Conservatives and the country more divided than ever.
