I Answered Mueller's Questions, Not Submitted Them

Trump stressed Friday that he answered the questions personally, not his lawyers.

President Trump said Friday that he has answered a set of questions from Special Counsel Robert Mueller "very easily", and his lawyers are signaling that the president expects to turn over his written answers in the coming days.

Mr Mueller is investigating whether members of Trump's campaign conspired with Russian Federation in the 2016 presidential election and whether the President has unlawfully sought to obstruct the probe. "My lawyers don't write the answers", he said.

It is not clear if these questions were the ones that Trump answered. Although its investigation is a "hoax", he said, Trump also said he has heard it will probably wrap up soon and that "I'm sure it would be fine".

Turkish authorities have been selectively leaking information to local media, including alleged recordings of the killing. Erdogan did not elaborate on how and when the Saudi official heard the recording of the killing of the Saudi citizen.

Trump's responses to a series of questions have been long sought by Mueller as part of his drafting of a confidential report expected to detail his overall findings. The investigators don't care "how many lives they can ruin", he wrote.

Despite his insistence that he is "very happy" with how things are going, his frustrations with the ongoing probe have been evident everywhere from his overheated Twitter feed this week to his private grousing that the special counsel may target his family.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker has told Republican Sen.

The White House is reportedly bracing itself for a slew of indictments as a result of the special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian Federation investigation. "I imagine it's ending now", Trump added of the probe into alleged collusion between Russian agents and his 2016 election campaign. The person wasn't authorized to speak publicly about the meeting and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

The goal appears to be to try to siphon would-be illegal immigrants to those ports of entry and away from jumping the border. Claims have spiked in recent years, and there is a backlog of more than 800,000 cases pending in immigration court.

No comments were available from the special counsel's office and the Justice Department. He said it might have been a good day, it was rainy, therefore he told a lie.

On Wednesday, Republican Sen. Both are said to be co-operating with Mueller's team. The move, contested by Democrats, was widely seen as an attempt to wrest oversight of the special counsel investigation from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Rosenstein told Congress that he saw no reason to fire Mueller.

Trump went on to dismiss the investigation, which he has repeatedly called illegal and threatened to shut down, attacking it this week as a national "disgrace".

The probe, which Trump has referred to as a "witch hunt", has charged four Americans once affiliated with Trump's campaign or administration, 13 Russian nationals, 12 Russian intelligence officers, three Russian companies, and two other people in its look at Russian involvement in the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign.
