White House Corrects Trump’s Tweet on GDP, Unemployment

Trump tweeted that the nation's gross domestic product growth was higher than the unemployment rate for the first time in more than a century.

Gasparino was writing in response to a tweet from Wall Street Journal columnist Kimberley Strassel.

Wolfers went on Twitter to provide his proof against Trump's statements, taking two full tweets to show every time the GDP growth rate was higher than the unemployment rate in the last 100 years, a total of 60 times.

Gasparino responded with a mix of snark and anger.

She also played a 2017 interview clip of Cardi saying that "nothing was off limits", even when talking about people's children. Just in case listeners didn't connect " Hard White " to the Cardi B altercation, Minaj added the hashtag #NYFW to her post.

In a detailed presentation on Monday, top White House economist Kevin Hassett told reporters the world's largest economy turned a corner in the Trump era, pointing to sharp gains in business investment, business sentiment and corporate registrations. Obama also made a problematic claim that Republican "sabotage" has cost 3 million people their health insurance. Trump said Monday in a posting on Twitter.

Gasparino's tweet referenced Trump's incorrect assertion that GDP had exceeded the nation's unemployment rate for the first time in 100 years.

Certainly, the economy is in usually good health: job creation has averaged 211,000 net new positions a month this year, the highest since 2015, when Mr Obama was in charge. "We will do MUCH better than this!"

"'President Trump would need a magic wand to get to 4% GDP, ' stated President Obama".

Mourinho is about as good as they come so it's hard to see who else United could hire to bring back the glory days. I hope we come through it sooner rather than later and I'm sure we will in the next game".

"If you look at the collective body of evidence, the notion that what we're seeing right now is just a continuation of trends is not super defensible", Hassett said.

The president seemed to be imprecisely referencing remarks made by Obama at a town hall event in 2016, in which he questioned promises from Trump regarding manufacturing jobs, not economic growth.

Actually, about Fox News, Obama White House Communications Director Anita Dunn told The New York Times in 2009, "We're going to treat them the way we would treat an opponent". What magic wand do you have? "Like, from the initial fact to what the president said, I don't know the whole chain of command", Hassett said.
