Mission: Impossible's Ving Rhames mistaken for burglar in his own home

Too many times we've heard the news that in someone has been killed, harmed, or threaten by cops and according to Golden Globe victor Ving Rhames, he was recently a victim of unjust interaction with police.

Actor Ving Rhames said he was held at gunpoint by police at his own Santa Monica home two years ago when he was mistaken by neighbors for a robber.

Santa Monica Police Department Lt. Saul Rodriguez confirmed the incident in an interview Sunday with The Washington Post, but he said it happened on July 29, 2016.

"Myself, the sergeant and one other officer, we went over to that house, which was across the street from my place, and the person denied it", Rhames said.
