Detroit man accused of sexually assaulting young family members arrested in Alabama

Authorities in Alabama say a man wanted for sexual assaults in Detroit and a child pornographic video shared around the world is now in custody.

State Bureau of Investigation Lt. Brooke Walker said Moore's fiancee was arrested Monday night and is not cooperating.

Moore is wanted for other felony charges here in Alabama as well as for sexually assaulting three girls in Detroit, Michigan.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office says the assaults happened while Moore was babysitting the kids while their mother was at work.

The FBI and law enforcement officials across the U.S. have issued warnings against sharing a disturbing video circulating on Facebook, even with the intention to seek justice.

Police in Alabama have the man they believe was behind a sickening video being spread on Facebook in custody.

Police said the victim has been located and is safe. "It is alleged the defendant sexually assaulted the children at his mother's home in Detroit and at his home in Alabama". He is being held in Montgomery County on a $100,000 bond. "That's all you got to do".

Moore is expected to be extradited from Alabama, as prosecutors in both MI and Alabama work to build their cases against him.

In an update late Thursday, the National Transportation Safety Board said it has spoken to four witnesses who raised the concerns. Chuck Fleischmann told The Indianapolis Star he was standing with a cup of coffee when the train hit the truck, throwing him.

The 44-year-old Moore also is charged in Detroit in the sexual assault of three young female relatives. It's unclear whether he'll face his charges in Alabama before or after extradition.

According to court records made public Tuesday, Washington on January 31 had a copy of the video on Facebook page and disseminated it through Facebook.

More arrests also are expected for distribution of the video. Regardless of intention, sharing such imagery is harmful and illegal.

If this video should be shared with you, do not share it with anyone else via email or social media. People can call their local law enforcement office to notify about the situation but not forward the content to the department's Facebook page.
